APFS parity

It seems that sgan81/apfs-fuse supports both encryption (full disk) and compression (except LZFSE). Any plans to port these over?

Hi. I don't check github often, you'll get faster replies if you send me an email.

I don't own any Apple devices, so testing new features is a bit tricky. The plan is to achieve write support as soon as possible so that I can run the whole test cycle on linux. Now that my fsck tool is working I think I could have a first draft in a month or two.

Once that's in place I'll look into compression and encryption, but not as read-only.

I don't own any Apple devices...

If you still don't own any Apple devices, would having access to VM running MacOS (on apple hardware) be suitable for you?

if you have apple hardware, then just create a basic MacOS install on an SD card or flash drive, that's what I do

Thank you for the offer! Luckily, I just got a job at a company that runs iphone VMs, so I think I'll be able to work with those. The project has been stuck for a while, but development will resume soon.
