I do agree that our SSH support is quite disappointing, which is why we usually push for FIDO2 for SSH login

Hello! The same was said about FIDO2, which is why we implemented support for it :). To answer your question, we definitely want to support passskeys :)
should we close this issue as the Mini BLE is passkeys compatible? I've updated the main website to explicitly state that.
