Could the number of vertices change after the OptCut?

At first, thanks for sharing this wonderful software. I really appreciate it.

Most of the time, the OptCut does not change the number of vertices. However, I found that the number of vertices slightly increase after applying the OptCut (ex. 99,989 -> 103,787). Is this expected action? or a bug?

Forgive me for not sharing the example data. It is private data that I cannot share by myself.

Thanks for your kind words! I don't think OptCuts will change the vertex number; it will only change the vertex number of the texture map if there are cuts made.
