Task List adds space after pressing enter

Create a card and make its scope small. Go to the task list and add a checklist item. After typing a word move the cursor between two letters and press enter. There should now be a space between those two letters. A little demo below If you have highlighted text and you press enter it will delete the text. I don't know if this can be changed as most applications that I use will remove the text but in this scenario it makes sense to me that it would not remove the text.
