PopOS 22.04, which is a flavor of Ubuntu

libva error: vaGetDriverNameByIndex() failed with unknown libva error, driver_name = (null) [1492335:0601/151305.252996:FATAL:gpu_data_manager_impl_private.cc(415)] GPU process isn't usable. Goodbye.

perhaps this is due to the Electron version

workaround is to launch acorn with the --no-sandbox flag
