iOS app: Unable to send to another Lightning iOS app

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Received a Lightning address from a friend who is also trying out the iOS Lightning app

2. Tapped on the pay button and pasted in the address

3. Tapped on Confirm

So I finally figured this out. My friend had just set up the app and did not have any receive capacity on his channel. After he sent me funds, I was able to send funds back.

It took a lot of research for me to figure all this out. No one new to Lightning will be able to figure this out. The app looks good, but desperately needs a help page which explains error message like this.

FYI, I have given up on using this app. It looks pretty, but almost every transaction fails with non-intuitive error messages that I have to google. The "AutoPilot" tries to set up channels with non-responsive nodes, locking up funds for long periods of time.

I am an engineer and can't figure out how to use this app. No ordinary person will ever be able to use it. I am now trying out the Muun app to see if it is any better.
