Editor does not respect the "Editor Font" option in the app's preferences

I tried to set a custom font for the editor in the app through Preferences > Editor > Editor Font but the editor does not apply after selecting a font (in my case, I want to use "JetBrains Mono" as the editor font) and instead just uses the default font. It does not seem to apply the font I chose even after restarting the app, and just falls back to the default font.
