Zoom cloud storage nearly full -- manage recordings
95% of the available cloud recording storage for our Zoom account is being used, i.e. 9.54 GB of 10 GB. Cloud recording will be disabled once 100% of the available storage is used.
We don't want to upgrade to purchase additional storage space.
We want to delete some files to make space but we want to save useful content in Google Drive.
N.B. can follow similar process to https://github.com/life-itself/ops/issues/90 (set up spreadsheet to log items and evaluate what we keep or delete, then move or delete as appropriate).
Acceptance
- [ ] Space cleared in Zoom cloud storage so that we can have 80-100% storage available for new recordings
- [ ] Zoom recordings we want to keep: migrated to (probably) this folder: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/166EM0QDS8b_JbTVih_Yl8_vY85eSN8VD
- [ ] Zoom recordings we don't want to keep: deleted.
Tasks
- [ ] Get list of all Zoom recordings in spreadsheet
- [ ] Evaluate what to keep/delete
- [ ] Triage/double check 'go-ahead' for deletion
- [ ] Delete recordings as appropriate
- [ ] Move the rest into Google Drive
- [ ] Sort and label well the ones migrated to GDrive

We'd need to ask them to follow/check the clog procedure for anything other than the Research Calls - https://github.com/life-itself/comms under README (probably way too extensive) - Jacob should be following this for the podcasts and deleting the videos from Zoom once he has saved the raw copy on the shared drive, as well as saving the edited copy in the Raw Content folder.
Happy to chat this through on Thursday if easier.

This should also be automated (we have had an issue for this for a while somewhere)
Migrated issue from comms repo to here (community repo). Had to copy and paste as seems you cannot transfer an issue from a private to a public repo. Hence pasted comments on previous issue https://github.com/life-itself/comms/issues/156 above as new comments.
Also I know why the space is being eaten up so much - it is due to the settings enabled to support the podcast - we now have a number of different videos being recorded
This is kind of a duplicate of #1029
N.B. Zoom cloud recording has now been disabled "because your account has used up all of the available cloud storage space". Either we want to move forward more quickly on setting up the automation process cf #1029 -- or we want to clear some storage manually in the interim so that we can make Zoom recordings again and have more time to set up the longer-term process.
If no one has the capacity at present to move these items across, I'd suggest that the previous research calls are deleted (oldest first) as most of these Jonah would have added to the LI Research Substack (there could be a quick cross reference between the substack and the recordings). Any podcasts or other recordings should stay on Zoom until we can add them to the clog/raw storage/check Jacob has done so. Perhaps we also change the video settings so it frees up more space - back to the old settings of just one view.
