Slow login when lots of missed messages

During the replay, when fetching a lot of messages, login basically comes to a halt. Chromium will use 100% CPU. I hoped I fixed it in beba5e4d962b5b0d8bd70a340fd4e06063e783a0, but it seems like it isn't gone yet.
