Cross compatibility with Biboumi IRC-XMPP bridge
Would be awesome if Biboumi as a cross bridge would be tested against when implementing new features, so that this awesome project can also be used to bridge indirectly to XMPP. See: https://biboumi.louiz.org/
I'll try to set up a cross-bridge like that in the next couple of weeks and report back if there are any obvious issues.
IIRC @XP-fan tried it for private messages but there was something that was a problem, but I'm not sure where the problem was. So if you managed to set it up it could maybe help him too!
He did have success with ejabberd afaik.

Do you mean I test actively if I don't break support with Biboumi? Or do you mean implementing special XMPP support. Because I don't really feel like doing either tbf :P
Well, try to at least not to actively break it :) But I'll try to get it to work first...
Well, just to make things clear here: I have tryed to use whapp-irc with biboumi quite a while ago, I think it was november or december 2018. At that time nothing worked, exept from sending a private message on XMPP, however, receiving didn't work, so I wouldn't get the answer, and groupchats seemed not to work at all. If someone wants to make a new test he can feel free to do so, I personally gave up on biboumi since it discards private messages when my client is offline even on freenode.
