chat room when playing not behaving correctly

What is the problem?

if im playing with the web version of lichess or the old mobile one and i send a message to my opponent in the chat room (and he is using the new lichess app ) they receive it but when he respond i do not get the message back in my website or mobile app

Steps to reproduce the bug

just pair two in chess game one on new app and one on the website and they use the chat the one with the website will not receive the messages

I am not able to reproduce this bug. Perhaps it only occurs under certain circumstances, could you be more specific about how you set up the game?
