Sometimes, Stockfish will not work for practice.

2. ( Stockfish is not on/working). Make a move.
3. Since SF is not working, the opponent never moves and you are stuck.

Note : Maybe permission related? I have not been able to reproduce as anon. Note : Sometimes, in the title, since often it works. But at least there is console errors in this issue.

which browser do you use? And which engine have you selected? Does it still happen?

For now I cannot reproduce (testing on Safari).

Chrome and sf 16 40 mb on win11.

It has happened more then once, but I don't know how to reproduce it either. Usually, I look at practice due to a forum report about a practice not working ( ie : https://lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/getting-told-to-restart-a-practice-then-on-playing-the-same-moves-i-get-success#6 ) So maybe interacting with the underlaying study matters somehow. But a theory I can't prove is maybe not worth much.

I could reproduce it in first 2-3 tries but couldn't reproduce on subsequent tries. Chrome v124, win 11 and sf 16 7MB
