Add explanation for tournament colors
The arena tournaments on https://lichess.org/tournament have several different colors. According to a forum post, the various colors are to be interpreted as follows (copy-pasted from the forum)
Green: open for all. Violet: rating restricted (U2000 etc.). Light blue: team battle (you will see it only if any of your teams is participating). Black: variants (you will see it only if you joined the lichess variants teams and/or if your team is participating in a team battle). Blue: daily. Orange: weekly. Yellow: Elite (2200+), streamers team battle, Titled Arena, yearly. Grey: shield. Red: monthly. Purple: marathon.
It would be nice to have such a list (or an equivalent explanation) available while looking at all the different tournaments on https://lichess.org/tournament. Maybe below the timeline?
Hi, Maybe we shoudn't add additional static element. There's really many elements. What do you think about add small icon and on hover, we can display small panel with description of colors?
