Open sl5net opened this issue 1 year ago • 4 comments

Some players https://youtu.be/_uu7cm3Vjo0?si=-Og-CI_fRDPL4Pdn&t=5184 also me often move accidentally because they like to click with left mouse button while talk or think.

i love the idea the option for the users move by middle of right mouse button.

thanks. cu bb

If that is still not enough, a lot of modern mouse offerings allow you to remap your buttons.

I apologize for the misunderstanding. I want to keep the left mouse button functions (e.g. for previewing possible moves), but do the final move with another button (like the right click) to avoid accidental moves.

You can use the https://lichess.org/account/preferences/game-behavior#moveConfirmation setting. That should be enough, otherwise just let go off the mouse if you can't stop yourself from missclicking.

Yes moveConfirmation is a very useful feature, that some like and i use, for games who i have a bit more time. But for Blitz not useful i mean. There is not enough time.
