Translating the Accessibility Mode, for blind users.

I use lichess.org allmost all the days and I do it thanks it's accessibility mode ON, which turns the website in something simplified and more screen reader friendly. I simple would like to contributing for my blind friend helping them to play on a translated website but the strings of this special area of lichess are not within the online tool that everybody uses to translate.

So. I'm kindly asking to staff to let them available somehow so I can translate them in my mother language. I could do the trick even out of that online tool, if needed, just explain me what I have to do. Thanks. Gabe.

Hi, being confused at first (new to me, and well hidden) I then tested the accessibility mode and oh boy there is ton of untranslated stuff. A few things :

Not translated for Accessibility/blind mode :

• Main page
  • h2 : Play, Counters, About, x ongoing games, Navigation,
  • buttons : "Accessibility: Disable blind mode"
  • when creating the game (small modal): "Create the game"
  • when creating the game (small modal): Variante : from position (not translated for non-blind also, won't do)
• The whole play area : Settings, Commands, Board mode commands, Promotion and under each.
• Analysis : Textual representation, Game info, Moves, Pieces, Current position, Move form, Computer analysis, Board, Settings, Keyboard shortcuts, Board move commands, Commands, and under a bunch of them.
• Puzzle : Puzzle: black to play, Puzzle info, Moves, Pieces, Puzzle status, Last move, Move form, Board, Settings, Keyboard shortcuts, Commands, Board mode commands, Promotion, and under a bunch of them.

I looked at a bunch of other pages and I don't think that the other pages beside Play/Analysis/Puzzle are made friendly to accessibility/blind mode (tournament, openings, profile?, etc.).

Do you have something else in mind @GabrieleBattaglia ?

Take a look at Lichess's blind mode and you'll understand: It hasn't been internationalized yet: https://lichess.org/#blind This is a fix but canceled #13641
