image view, default cross-hair color.

More of a general minor exception note. (for gray-scale images with a lot of ~126 level gray in them. With color images this is more or less a none issue.)

The cross-hair(the default one) color, which is automatically adjusted based on the background color, tends to become hard to follow on the gray(~126) parts in gray-scale image. (general side effect of the smooth color adjustment on the cross-hair of course.)

Although maybe a bit less nice. Limiting the cursor color to just white and black might be a option here to get rid of this side effect.

Available workaround: Using the "Display Control" to adjust the image display a bit works ok.

(just in case: Nips 7.34.0, Win XP) (Also directly closing this report as a active issue.)

nip2 just asks for a crosshair, the icon is provided by the theme.

The options would be to get rid of the crosshair (it's not very useful) or to use a theme with a better one. The standard ubuntu crosshair (for example) has a black outline so it shows up well.
