How to run tests on autotools builds

Hi, for v1.x there are two ways to build libuv, but the testing method described in README works only for CMake builds. What is the method to run the test suite when autotools is used?

# to run the full test suite
$ make check
# to run a specific test
$ test/run-tests TEST_NAME [TEST_NAME]
