the romhack allows up to 4 players through link everywhere instead of just the battle arena and trading, and if it can use the link system from emerald it'll be a great game to netplay with people since the players aren't all locked to one cartridge.

What needs to happen to make it work? That is, it doesn't work already?

i'm unsure what needs to be done, as i don't know the code, i think it works based on emerald's link cable code since that's the game it's a romhack of, but the "entire game multiplayer" aspect might be messing with it. all i know is that i tried to play 2 player through netplay with a friend (i'm on windows, they're on linux, but idk if that would break it) and we could connect to the same netplay lobby, but trying to connect to each other ingame wouldn't work.
