Gamecube BIOS boot screen

Currently there isn't any way to have the libretro fork use the Gamecube BIOS and display that iconic animation on game boot. Are there any plans to implement this feature? I don't know that it affects anything like game compatibility, but it would certainly be greatly appreciated.
