What is the correct sound sample rate similar as the console ?

Dolphin core in sound sample rate configuration the default is 32 KHz. However the console was really 32 or 48 Khz ? What is the setting more similar as the console ? 32 or 48 Khz ?

Up to 48 kHz is what the GC DSP was capable of, however most games were/are in 32 kHz, so it's a sensible default.
