Android RetroArch Dolphin's core crashes at start

Open p-lejan opened this issue 3 years ago • 2 comments

Android 12, Poco X3 Pro Miui 13, 8GB RAM SND 860, everything updated, still crashing in Retroarch last build. Could you verify it? Thanks!

Same. Running RetroArch 1.9.12 with dolphin-emu (3370f76), with all dolphin-data and BIOS files in place, launching any GameCube game (iso, gcm, etc) always results in RetroArch crashing before the core even shows anything. This is on AYN Odin Pro.

The Dolphin core on Android has been broken for years now, as seen in #92, #125 and #183. As updates for Windows and Linux itself on this core are slow, I recommend you using the standalone version until the core maintenance are resumed and the core is more up to date, especially as are some good improvements in Dolphin that are not yet present in this core.
