[SLES-02112] SaGa Frontier 2 - Black start screen

Hello

Beetle-psx version: 46df877d5df91a7f5d97093cdce89766d4fd30b7 (also tried with 20171126) Retroarch version: 1.7.3 OS: Gentoo Using software rendering (the only option I changed is CD caching set to precache)

The intro FMV works well until after the king takes the baby into his arms. Then I get a black screen with music running endlessly (3:32 in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAbUiJ8c1s4). I'll try with the US version too.

Looks like the US version works. Maybe a bad dump then?

@ghost: verify the other dump with the redump.org CRC,.

Commenting after over 3,5 years.

I can confirm this bug still exists with the European version of the Saga Frontier 2. I've got the verified dump and it happens exactly like ghost described - you can see through the opening intros fine but when the map should pop up, it's all black screen and the music goes on an endless loop.
