Controller screen appears in certain camera transitions in Resident Evil Director's Cut

The title. Controller screen is supposed to appear when you unplug your joypad from a real playstation. The screen appears in some "transitions" when the camera switch in another angle. In mednafen standalone too.

I can confirm this still happens sadly, I was able to work around it to enable cpu overclock in the quick options menu. I was able to finish the game with no adverse side effects from this and it solved my issue.
