framebuffer without mali

hello,

I would like to compile retroarch for fbdev without the mali driver. Is it possible? I have been trying some combinations, sdl, opengl, gles but I get , failed to find a video driver. I also can't use the kms option as I am stuck to a quite old kernel that doesn't have it. SO ideally I would like to access the framebuffer directly, for example with directfb. thanks a lot :)

Moreover, there is no log how you compile it so it will be difficult to help you.
