It's called Input (Autoconfig) Connection Notifications, under Settings / User Interface / On-screen Notifications / Notification Visibility.

also the controller was never recognized as an xbox one, it says:

''bluetooth le xinput compatible input device (1118/2835) not configured, using fallback''

The fallback notification is coming in every case, since it normally indicates that the controller will not work as expected. If you save an autoconfig profile (Input / RetroPad Binds / Port 1), that should cause the autoconfiguration to be applied and the normal config notification to appear instead, which can be hidden.

@reignerdeustcher Please follow the issue template,

First and foremost consider this:

Only RetroArch bugs should be filed here. Not core bugs or game bugs
This is not a forum or a help section, this is strictly developer oriented

You should read the documentation first then check our forum with the help section or Discord to ask your question.

Thank you your understanding.

I'm seeing the same problem here in 1.20.0. Every time I start RetroArch, I see these notifications in the bottom left. I also see them occasionally when I'm playing. It's really distracting. They show whether I start RA on its own:

Or when I start in a core (mGBA in this case):

I've disabled "Input (Autoconfig) Connection Notifications" in the settings, as you can see here, but the notifications still appear:

Is this a bug? I'm happy to try anything here to fix this, or to give you information to help understand what's going on.

FWIW, the problematic notifications go away when I disable On-Screen Notifications, but then I lose my achievement and other notifications, which I don't want to lose. I just want the controller notification spam to stop.
