Builds for darwin amd64 are broken (at least the most recent ones)

On running darwin amd64 builds (on a 2019 Intel Macbook Pro) a segmentation fault occurs. This seems to affect all recent versions. Compiling yourself yields a perfectly fine binary which works flawlessly, so I guess the build process is broken somehow.
