I've used idevicerestore --erase --latest intentionally, because I forgot my ipad pin and I was too lazy to get a Windows Computer near to me. I'm using linux

Any ideas how to fix it?

Compile idevicerestore from source with latest code from git.

@nikias It's the latest source code, cloned the repo today and compiled it. :/

Fixed it by using iTunes in a Windows VM, but still sucks :P
