I think this a timezone issue, what timezone do you have selected?
I can't reproduce this issue, i changed tz to Chicago and changed dateformat but all Works well! Can you reproduce this on the Demo http://demo81.libasyscloud.de ?

email reminders are at the moment not supported, becomes feature with later version! but gui is implemented for later version!
I have a new version of fullcalendar tested, but the issues about performance are to much at the moment so i would like to wait for a performant stable version...
