Push notifications?

I'm using MeshChat (current repository version) on a remote server and can't find out if this feature is available or not. I mean popup alerts in the browser when someone sends me a message.

Not for me, in GNOME the FireFox is enabled, in Firefox, I don't see MeshChat in the list...

Because you need a chromium browser
