Suggestion: where to integrate monthly and annual notes in the Calendar plugin

I saw this in your README re: monthly notes:

"Calendar Plugin Integration Coming soon! I just have to figure out a good place to show it in the UI."

What about, just like the days in the calendar are, making the month title and the year title clickable? E.g. clicking on the month indicated on the calendar would open that month's monthly note, and clicking on the year indicated on the calendar would open that year's note.

You may have already thought of this and it may not be trivial to implement. It just seems the most obvious way to integrate it (to me at least).
