Creating daily note via Calendar doesnt trigger Rollover Daily Todos

Open shepner opened this issue 3 years ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug

I have the latest version of both the Calendar and Rollover Daily Todos plugins installed along with the core Daily Notes plugin.

Create daily note with the core Daily Notes plugin: As expected a new daily note, of the current timestamp, is created and my todo items carry over to the new note

Create daily note with Calendar: A new daily note, of a time 23:59, is created and my todo items do not carry over to the new note.

Steps to reproduce

On a new day:

  1. click on that day in the calendar. let it create a daily note
  2. observe todo items did not appear in daily note
  3. delete the daily note
  4. click on 'open today's daily note'
  5. observe todo items that were carried over from the previous day

Expected behavior

I expected that when Calendar created the daily note, the Rollover Daily Todos plugin would have been triggered
