Hover pop-up that shows all notes (titles e.g. truncated) created on that day

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. It would come in handy to have a hover pop-up that shows all notes (titles truncated) created on that day.

Describe the solution you'd like I would like to have window pop-up that shows me all notes I created on a specific day with an active link to that note. This popup could be differentiated from the pop-up that is mentioned in this request (https://github.com/liamcain/obsidian-calendar-plugin/issues/163) by only popping up when a modifier key is pressed.

Describe alternatives you've considered I could gather these links in a separate daily note but that takes extra clicks.

Hi, you might be interested in trying the 2.0 beta which adds some extra metadata on hover. It doesn't do quite what you're after but I would love your thoughts on it!

Thanks, this is already a great addition. I'm really happy with the fact that I can see on which days I've got notes. For a future update it would be great if clicking the date with a modifier key would show all notes for that day.

And maybe the scale of the pop-up is a bit large compared to the rest of the calendar. I would scale it down a bit.

Thanks for the feedback! The sizing is likely just an issue with the theme that you're using (it looks like the calendar-face you have is a bit smaller than the default). It will take a bit longer for theme authors add support for the hover popover but should be an easy fix!

For a future update it would be great if clicking the date with a modifier key would show all notes for that day.

My current plan is to have notes created on a particular day expanded into their own tab like so:

That way, the view can be linked or used independently of the calendar view. Let me know if that would satisfy your use case.

So in the Right-Click context menu, there will be an option to "Show Zettels" for a particular day. Then that will update the view below. If I make it a modifier-click, that will probably need to be configurable to improve discoverability + account for different use cases.

Oh… and regarding the size of the pop-over. With the default theme it's also quite large see screenshot (in my situation anyway)
