Hi, I see beautiful representations of the amount of words people have written in notes on a day in screenshots on the Obsidian Forum but I can't see them in my Calendar view. I have daily notes with enough words, I have set the date format 'YYYYMMDD ' in daily note settings and I've checked that it's not something in my theme. What could be the reason that they don't show up? Thanks!

Hi @janpeeters70, to clarify, the calendar plugin currently assumes 1 daily note per day, so it's only looking for a file called YYYYMMDD.md and not files like YYYYMMDD some text.md. I say that since it looks like you have a space at the end of your daily note format.

If that's not intentional, could you try removing the trailing space at the end of your format and see if that fixes it?

Hi @liamcain that clarifies it all. I assumed that all notes with a preseding date would be taken into account. On some days I have many daily notes (e.g. for meetings) and add a description after the date. Not sure if it will fit in your ideas for the plugin but would you be willing to add an option that for with a date in fronta are also counted? Thanks

You might be interested in checking out the v2.0 Beta; it has support for "Zettels" - notes prefixed with dates. It can be configured to enumerate based on the number of Zettels that you have.

Interacting with the calendar still assumes that you have a single "Daily Note" though, if that makes sense.

Install instructions here.
