Feature Request: Click Month to open Periodic Monthly Note

Clicking the day or week in the calendar plugin already opens the appropriate note - I would like to click on the MONTH in the calendar plugin and have it open the Monthly Periodic Note - it would be great if the function worked with your Periodic Notes plugin to create the Monthly Note using the criteria stored there.

this feature would be fantastic - is this plug in still being developed? i can see this has been open for a while

+1 i'm bumping up this FR. i use monthly note to do summaries or "look back" and some months i might do it a few months after. which by then i have to manually create it and apply template. if this feature is available it would just be browse the months and click (the periodic notes plugin would help to apply the template).
