Hello,

Awesome script! Although I have a problem removing Corsair KATAR PRO Wireless mouse. I haven't been able to remove it in any way.....

******** Bluetooth Devices ********

1 - KATAR PRO Wireless (OK/Bluetooth/695520171719)

Select a device to remove (0 to Exit): 1 Removing device: KATAR PRO Wireless Sorry, an error occured. Return was: 1168

Do you have any clue why it can't be removed? Thanks!

Our team seems to be getting the same error when attempting to remove Bluetooth devices with this script. Nothing else seems to work.

The device is not available.

"Device Manager -> Bluetooth -> (right-click) YourBTDevice -> Uninstall Device" will remove them from the output of removeBtDevice.ps1

after exchange of the Wifi/Bluetooth card, there are "dead" entries in the list of bluetooth devices in the Windows Bluetooth settings. The "dead" entries' devices are not listed any more in the device manager and cannot be removed from there. Attempt to remove the devices from the Windows Bluetooth settings returns an error. Using the script returns error 1168. Removing the bluetooth devices from the registry (ComputerHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesBTHPORTParametersDevice) did not remove the devices from the list in the Windows Bluetooth settings.

This seems to be a stubborn part of Windows 11. There must be a device list somwhere to be manipulated, so we have a clean list in the Windows Bluetooth settings. Any ideas? :-)
