[feature request] browse up button

Hi, nice addons for the finder you've built. would it be possible for you to create a "browse up" button as well ? currently finder have only "browse left" and "browse right" buttons, as in: back and forward, like an internet browser. I miss a "browse up" button that would allow someone to "go up" in filesystem hierarchy, that is, go up to the enclosing directory no matter what the file browsing history one could have generated previously. there's an app that does this already, it's called xtra finder. it's nice but it currently require users to completely disable macOS sip (using Big Sur and MBP M1 here). and also it have many features that I don't need, basically I just used it for its "browse up" button you can see in the screenshot. since you're more focused on creating additional toolbar buttons for the finder here, I'm making this feature request. anyway thanks for what you've already done.

Yes, it's possible to make two buttons for these actions. But I just feel like these shortcuts are both easy to press and remember. What do you think? 😃

thank you for the reply. yes I knew about these hotkeys, I also know a few other methods to browse back one directory up. there's also the path bar, and also right click on window titlebar too. the rationale for asking this is that it applies as well to the go left/go right buttons. why having them at all since we can use hotkeys and the method I listed above ? because it's convenient. I would feel the same way about having a "go up" third navigation button in the toolbar, it's convenient. that's why i usually install xtrafinder just for having that. if you could make it an addition to the other buttons you're already providing with LTFinderButtons, I'd happily use it. but I'm just suggesting, you're the one to decide of course.

update: I think there is a small error in your message: ⌘↑ goes to the enclosing folder <-- that's correct. and, that is the one I'm talking about. ⌘↓ opens the previously opened folder <-- that's false, ⌘↓ is like double-click or execute. and I wasn't talking about this one.

I'm just pointing it for reference and clarity's sake. I'm only requesting one button: go up (⌘↑), so I can have: "go-left / go-right / go-up". just like shown in the xtrafinder screenshot I've linked to earlier.

come to think about it, a toolbar icon for toogling sidebar could be nice to have too :) i wish apple could make many more toolbar icon available by default or offer a simple way of adding custom ones..
