Annotation guide
Hello,
Can you explain the MultiWOZ2.3 annotation guide and the role of [none, none] & [concept, none] slot-value pair please ?
Thanks!
Hi,
The annotation of [none, none] means no slot can be found according to the intent. For the following example, you can see though booking is mentioned but no slots can be found about booking.
The annotation of [xxx, none] means no slot value can be found according to the mentioned slot name. But it still depend on whether it is annotated correctly or not.
After all, I suggest you take all [Internet, none] and [Parking, none] as [XXXX, yes]. And for other [XXXX, none] (like [Depart, none], I am not sure for that. Maybe the slot value is just ignored when annotating.
I hope my explanation can actually help you😊
Example: "text": "I found 1 cheap hotel for you that includes parking . Do you like me to book it ?", "dialog_act": { "Booking-Inform": [ [ "none", "none" ] ], "Hotel-Inform": [ [ "Price", "cheap" ], [ "Choice", "1" ], [ "Parking", "none" ], [ "Type", "hotel" ] ] }

Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
Do you have an annotation guide (except for what has been shown in the papers of MultiWOZ) explaining in detail the logic of the ontology and the different choices of annotations ? I am interested in the user utterances and I would like to know more please...
Thanks again! Bests

Sorry,I have no such annotation guide. I suggest that you understand the specific purpose of the various annotations by connecting them to the context of the dialogues.
Good luck!
