Implement object model for manipulating individual elements

As a flowchart develops, you often have to reposition elements. This would be a fantastic addition. Something like clicking to get a hand icon.

You can use the pointer tool (the last tool), draw a selection around the elements you want to move, then click-hold-drag.

How about being able to move boxes and have connected lines automatically update ? Currently I have to manually redraw connected lines.

It would greatly increase usability if you could move boxes in a similar way that you currently can resize boxes. It would be so much easier if it was sufficient to grab an edge of the box to move it instead of drawing a selection around it and then the click-hold-drag. Also, currently, when you release your click-hold-drag, you have to reselect the whole box again even if you immediately notice that you want to slightly reposition it, making the process somewhat cumbersome.

Object mode in AF3 will support this natively.

Sorry for the noise 4 years later; tagging to make sure it's address properly in the new version.
