I haven't been and won't be able to maintain this package to a reasonable level. Anyone who is using this package and wants to take over maintenance and/or ownership, please shout.

Could you maybe put a better explanation into the README, for what this is, and a list of features and some stuff like that? I would see that as an important requirement for people wanting to take over, as they might want to use this, when they know what it is/that it is what they are looking for themselves.
