3D Holder for Cheap Version / Resolution scaling
Hi Les, i cloned your nice spctrometer with the small and the big spectroscope. nearly no difference. i made a holder for the pi camera and the small spectrometer. It fits perfect for both, maybe you like to include this in your project:

i like to build an closed case with battery driven pi, so i can also use it as portable version. i ordered a small 7" display with 1024*600 resolution. it will be nice to see an full screen version. i played a little bit with the code, but i´m not a programmer. i get the main frame and other frames bigger, but not the maingraph. maybe you can help me.
thanks a lot
New Version for the Zoom lens and the small Spectrometer:

the 12mm Lens cut the spectrum, so i have to use the zoom Lens. I also removed the OWB/IR Filter Glas in front of the pi camera. now it is more sensitiv to ir light.
Just 3D printed the holder you designed and wirked quite well. However, I have trouble aligning everthing.
I guess it is a question of the camera and lens used. From the screw holes on the holder I guess you used a different camera then me. I have the v2 noIR camera.
Can you tell me what camera and lens you used?
Thanks in advance for the info and thanks again for designing the holder and making it available to us.
Hi, i use a OV5647 based camera and a 8mm Lens.
Hi, I'm setting up the Pi Zero W 2 version. I use a 12mm but as mash-m the spectrum is cut ans also i used one extra lens to get a focus.
As holder i made a model to fit the cam and diffraction grating i want to share. Try don't to print it with support and you might will need a file to widen the diameter of the hole. Here seems to be the place to post this: TinyPiSpec.stl.zip
