Switching between Navigation Pages resets page data

Describe the bug

The new NavigationView implementation in v3.0.1 preview when switching between pages resets the data on page.

To Reproduce

Upgrade to v3.0.1-preview1 and utilize the new navigation view with some dummy pages with textbox on each pages.

Expected behavior

In v2.0.3 this isn't the case, switching between pages keeps the data as it is. Possible to have both options and let the developer decide ?

Saw there is CacheMode property but unsure what it does, no effect while setting it true or false.

Having same problem...it's been almost a year and this issue is not addressed, shame that this UI toolkit is leaking on bugs everywhere...
