High CPU usage

When the screen saver is running, the cpu of my Macbook is running really hot (over 94 degrees celcius) so the fans keep spinning at a high rpm. My Macbook is a mid 2015 retina, 2.2GHz i7, integrated graphics only.

I had the same problem. It was due to the channel being set to two channels. Also see the developers reaction on twitter https://twitter.com/leonspok/status/1029702537639804929. Does this fix your problem?

Dunno; I've stopped using lrvue since Google fixed the Featured Photos screensaver for High Sierra. Now I can have my screen saver running with full tranquility 😉
