v5 - "This app is blocked"
When I try and install the new version I get:
"This app is blocked - This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access."
sorry for the inconvenience, since the OAuth app is still under review, Google limit the max user to 100 and now it already reached 100, please wait for the review to complete(may take several days) or install from the source to use v4.0.7 with the legacy editor
Do you have description of how to install from source to use v4.0.3 with legacy editor? Thanks!
- checkout the code from GitHub
- checkout to tag
v4.0.7
- open Chrome's extension page, there's
Load Unpacked
button on the top left, click it and choose the source code dir, that's all
great thanks! I had to enable developer mode to get the Load Unpacked button.

I keep getting the get apps script code failed
error
Are there any special scopes that we have to enable when creating the github access token? I actually selected all and still doesn't work. Does anyone else experience this issue?
I now have 4.0.3 installed and have turned off 5.0. I get "Unknown error" when opening legacy editor. Buttons for gas-github are displayed but are not active. Anyone see this issue? thx

I was getting the same issue with 4.0.3, so I'm using v4.0.7:
I had to search around a bit for this so I've shared an unpacked (from the .CRZ), and zipped copy here.
- Download and Unzip 4.07 onto your computer,
- In the extensions section of Chrome enable developer mode,
- Remove the existing extension, (probably v5.0.0 or v4.0.3)
- "Load unpacked" the unzipped 4.0.7 (it has to be installed this way to stop it just upgrading to v5.0.0 every time you open Chrome).
- Log back into GitHub using the Extensions Options menu. If you have 2FA on GitHub you will have to log in with an access token that you can find under GitHub > Profile > Developer settings.
@leonhartX Any chance you can create a 4.0.7 Release on this repo we can download?
@andrewroberts oh... sorry, I thought 4.0.3 was the latest before 5.0 but should be 4.0.7 let me create a release
v4.0.7 created, please check out this version to work with legacy editor
4.0.7 works like a charm! Thanks @leonhartX
works Thank you!
