file extension not showing for c files

on dicord it appears as {file_extension} instead of showing the actual file extension. So if I'm working on a file say...wordle.c, it shows on discord as wordle{file_extension}. I'm on windows 10.

Is it only .c files? If not can u send me your config for it. Seems to be working for me
