improve readme documentation

I am trying to understand which version of the plugin should I to precompile jsps for tomcat 8.5. It appears I should use version 2.x but I am not sure. when it says in the readme "only ..." does that mean "only tomcat version ..." ?

Hi there,

to be completely honest: I don't know. I haven't used this plugin in over 10 years an only maintain it.

@tcollignon might know but not sure how involved he is these days.

If you find out we would love a PR fixing the documentation.
