Rails & Trains render dark when using Flywheel (NeoForge 1.21.1)

Open StinkyStijn opened this issue 3 months ago • 4 comments

Describe the bug While using Flywheel with Create 0.6.0 on NeoForge 1.21.1, curved rails and assembled trains render almost completely dark. When Flywheel backend is set to off, lighting looks correct but performance is much lower. When Flywheel backend is set to DEFAULT or iris_instancing, FPS improves but all Create contraptions and rails appear black.

To Reproduce Create 0.6.0 + Iris (NeoForge 1.8.12) + Sodium (0.6.13) + Iris-Flywheel-Compat (NeoForge 2.0.4).

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • MC v]ersion: 1.21.1.172 (NeoForge)
  • Create version 0.6.0
  • Iris version: 1.8.12+mc1.21.1 (NeoForge)
  • Sodium version: 0.6.13+mc1.21.1 (NeoForge)
  • Iris-Flywheel-Compat version: 2.0.4 (NeoForge)
  • GPU: Nvidia RTX 4060 (non-Ti)
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K

Additional context This issue seems similar to #217 but on NeoForge it still persists in 2.0.4. This issue occurs regardless of shaders being enabled or disabled.

Are you using ScalableLux?

Yes, ScalableLux-0.1.0+1.1+neoforge.

Removing ScalableLux did not fix the issue for me on this setup, the tracks remain dark but the trains are normal now.

This issue also exists in 1.20.1. The issues are nearly identical. Straight rail ways are totally fine but, curved one has rendered darker like current issues.
