Patch isn't applying on New 2DS XL

Hi!

I was trying to apply the patch to my New 2DS XL. It had Luma already installed on it, and I think I have the EU version of the game (That was the title that worked when I put it into the folder since the game came with it preinstalled when I bought it). Anyways the patch just doesn't work. I followed the instructions on the website and tried every single version and it wouldn't work. Luma has the game patching turned on so I'm completely unsure of what I'm doing wrong. Could I get instructions on how to do it?
