[Feature request] Faster active camera movement using the C-stick

Open mck007 opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

Description Would it be possible to accelerate the motion of the camera slightly when you try to adjust with the thumbstick? I believe that multiplying the speed of the camera by a factor of 1,5 to 2,5 would give it a better response time.

Context One of the big problems of the N64 era was the novelty of the 3D environment and it's handling (see Mario 64, etc...). When I play the MM randomizer on my N64 emulator, I have to adjust for a moment to the lack of camera control. As you probably guessed by the problem description, I'm playing on the N3DSXL. How does citra handle this? Is the thumbstick assigned to the second analogue stick of whatever controller is used? How fast does the camera move on citra? Is it handled like say the free-moving camera of Breath of the Wild?

I edited the title. The other camera requests I saw seem to be about passive camera movement related to other actions. If it has already been requested, feel free to remove this one.
