Compatibility with Nuclide

Open derwaldgeist opened this issue 8 years ago • 3 comments

I just found out about the Nuclide Atom package (https://nuclide.io/) and already love it. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with atom-tree-ignore, which I use a lot. The plugin won't filter the Nuclide treeview, and even worse, the treeview jumps around if atom-tree-ignore is active and you have a large number of files or folders, as described here:

https://github.com/facebook/nuclide/issues/948

I am not sure whether this can be fixed by the Nuclide team or if this is caused by a bug in atom-tree-ignore, so I am cross-posting the issue here. If it is actually a problem in Nuclide, just close this issue. Thx.

Is probably more of a bug caused by atom-tree-ignore, I think.

The fact is that I'm not really into Atom anymore (switched to vim some month from now), and have too much pro work to investigate on this for now.

Feel free to dig and submit a Pull Request.

Ok, thanks a lot for your quick reply! Switching Atom for vim -- really? :-)

Yeap. The capacities of vim always made me want to try it, after seeing some friends and colleagues use it.

I've tried Atom's vim mode, but not for long : compared to vim, Atom is really slow.
