Vim mode for editor and moving between resources 🚀
What would you like to be added:
- I want to edit Kubernetes resources using Vim mode.
- Navigate the sidebar with Vim-like keybindings: use J to move down, K to move up, and press Enter to open resources.
- Would be nice to open the editor with a keybinding like
Spacebar + EandSpacebar + Fto go Full size mode or similar shortcuts/commands
Why is this needed:
- Gives VSCode like experience
- Enhances your workflow by allowing seamless navigation within Lens entirely from the keyboard, eliminating the need to switch to the mouse and keeping your hands in optimal position for efficiency.
- Enables faster and more precise editing of Kubernetes resources, making file examination not only quicker but also more enjoyable and productive.
Would you like me to tailor it further for a specific audience? Environment you are Lens application on:
-
MacOS 15
-
Kubernetes distribution: [EKS, AKS, GKE, Rancher, ...] any
-
Desktop OS: MacOS
